The latest report from the Building Movement Project, On the Frontlines: Nonprofits Led by People of Color Confront COVID-19 and Structural Racism, includes survey results from 433 nonprofit leaders of color and 41 depth interviews showing how POC-led nonprofits are at the forefront of responding to multiple crises: both the COVID-19 pandemic and calls for social change. As a result, programs, strategies, finances and leadership strategies are shifting – carving out new ways to create sustainable systemic changes.
