Business Volunteers Unlimited is pleased to announce a Fellow Opportunity with Plexus Chamber of Commerce & Education Foundation

Plexus is seeking a Training and Curriculum Consultant to LGBTQ cultural competency workshops and trainings to area organizations. We are ready to scale this program by formalizing our curriculum, designing a “train the trainer’s model”, redesigning marketing and educational materials, and creation of online resource center. We have not formalized our process and we do not have standardized methods for measuring our effectiveness. Without these, we cannot assure quality to improve or scale our program by training more facilitators. Not only is our work in the field of diversity and inclusion in high demand and much needed for sustaining affirming and welcoming workplaces for LGBTQ people, but it is also an area of earned revenue that we could increase by streamlining.

Plexus is the only LGBTQ-focused business organization in Northeast Ohio, Plexus allows for exposure, connections and opportunities unlike those of any other professional group. Your involvement, as a member or sponsor, makes a statement of support for economic equality in your workplace, our city and in our state. Plexus is the voice for the LGBTQ and allied business communities in Northeast Ohio and one of the 60 affiliates of the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC) in the U.S.
