Vice President, Nonprofit Engagement

Ann provides board and organizational development services to hundreds of nonprofits encompassing the full industry sector. Prior to joining BVU in 1996, Ann was Executive Director of the Center for Prevention of Domestic Violence (nka Domestic Violence & Child Advocacy Center). Ann worked at New Directions, an alcohol and drug residential treatment program for adolescents and their families for ten years in multiple positions. She also was on the faculty of The Music Settlement as a board-certified music therapist for several years. Ann serves as Vice Chair and Chair of the Governance Committee of the board of the Ohio Buckeye Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, as well as varied national work teams. She is also a member of the Advisory Board of the Foundation Center Midwest. Ann earned an MBA from Cleveland State University and a Bachelor’s of Music from Florida State University.
