When you see cyber security stories in the news, do you want to crawl back in bed and hide? Even for IT professionals, it can be hard to keep up with this ever-changing landscape, and hard to know which cyber security trends deserve our attention. Data is your nonprofit’s biggest asset. Let’s learn how to lower the risk of data breach to protect those assets.
This session, hosted at MAGNET’s new MidTown headquarters, will feature Tech Impact’s expertise on security trends and emerging threats to nonprofits, identifying your risks, and what practical steps you can take to protect your organization from cyber crime and data breach. We will also discuss the cyber insurance landscape changes and prepare you to get or renew coverage in today’s market.
The Nonprofit Leaders’ Breakfast series invites the leaders of our region’s nonprofits to come together for educational and insightful discussions. The series is generously sponsored by HW&Co. and Raising Results LLC!
This event kicks off the 2023 Nonprofit Tech Series, presented by BVU and Tech Impact in partnership with the Cleveland Foundation.
The past few years have prompted a sudden and sweeping shift to remote work. Many workplaces—nonprofits included—now rely on technology like never before. We navigate remote meetings, virtual service provision, and new “paperless” methods for nearly everything we do. To make a successful impact in the digital era, nonprofit leaders must prioritize technology planning and cyber security.
After the in-person kickoff event above, BVU and Tech Impact will host three free 45-minute virtual sessions this summer and fall to dig deeper into the following topics:
– Leveraging Data to Tell Your Impact Story
– Tech Planning: What You Need and How to Fund It
– Preventing a Data Breach: The #1 Priority for Nonprofit Leaders
Stay tuned for details so you can make plans to join us as we tackle tech challenges together.
