Intro to Nonprofit Board Service for The 100+ Latinos™ Cleveland Must Know
January 18 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
FREEAre you ready to make a difference at the nonprofit board room table?
100+ Latinos™ Cleveland Must Know is an initiative created by AmMore Consulting in 2020 to elevate the profile of the Hispanic/Latino/Latine/Latinx community of Greater Cleveland. In line with the program’s goal to provide opportunities for career growth, civic engagement, and leadership development, BVU is pleased to host this session on the basics of nonprofit board service, including why and how to get involved.
BVU hosts this event for the wider public multiple times a year as part of our Minority Pipeline Initiative, which aims to increase the racial diversity of nonprofit leaders in Northeast Ohio through subsidized board matching and training services for professionals of color. Those interested in being matched to a nonprofit board for free are encouraged to get in touch with Darnell Davis Jr. at ddavis@bvuvolunteers.org.
