Business Volunteers Unlimited (BVU) is looking for a passionate, results-driven leader to drive corporate engagement and revenue generation through strategic partnerships. The Director, Business and Partnership Development is a full-time, exempt role reporting to the President & CEO. You will play a pivotal role in our mission to engage, connect, and strengthen businesses, nonprofits, and the community. Responsibilities:
- Business Development & Revenue Generation: Drive the growth of corporate memberships and sponsorships to help sustain BVU’s mission and impact.
- Strategic Partnership Management: Identify, cultivate, and build long-term relationships with business partners, ensuring both financial sustainability and positive social impact.
- KPI-Driven Success: Oversee the growth of business membership and achieve goals of 20% new business revenue (20-30 new members) annually and work with the business engagement team to support a 90% retention rate. You will also play a key role in achieving specific sponsorship revenue targets and increasing client satisfaction.
- Collaboration Across Teams: Work closely with our program, marketing, and finance teams to ensure that BVU’s partnerships are effectively aligned with our services and organizational goals.
- Public Representation: Represent BVU at community events, conferences, and forums, elevating BVU’s visibility and attracting new business members.

Requirements:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in business development, partnership management, or sales (nonprofit or corporate social responsibility experience is a plus).
- A proven track record in generating revenue, managing accounts, and building long-term relationships with clients.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage senior business leaders and represent BVU at external events.
- Strong strategic thinking and organizational skills, with a hands-on approach to driving business goals.
- CRM experience (Salesforce is a plus) and a data-driven approach to measuring success.
