BVU is excited to announce a Fellow Opportunity with EFFECTIVE LEADERSHIP ACADEMY!
EFFECTIVE LEADERSHIP ACADEMY is seeking a External Evaluator
About EFFECTIVE LEADERSHIP ACADEMY
Effective Leadership Academy’s mission is to help people develop their most valuable asset-themselves. Through
a variety of hands-on, engaging activities our students and educators take a “journey of self-discovery” and gain
essential tools for success along the way.
Pathways to Success serves as a critical bridge program for students preparing to enter a key transition point,
such as middle school or high school. For many students, social, emotional, and psychological changes make the
transitions difficult. ELA can help guide students to success.
Opportunity Description
ELA is seeking a qualified external evaluator to assess the effectiveness of our social-emotional learning
program, Pathways to Success. This initiative is designed to equip young people with leadership, social, and
emotional skills necessary for personal and professional success. The evaluation will help us measure program
outcomes, improve implementation, and inform future growth.

Program Assessment – Reviewing program curriculum, materials, and delivery methods.
Outcome Measurement – Assessing participant growth and program impact in key social-emotional
competencies by utilizing qualitative and quantitative methodologies.
Stakeholder Engagement – Conducting interviews and focus groups with students, mentors, and

qualitative data in addition to providing actionable recommendations for program improvement.

actionable recommendations for stakeholders, including funders and board members.
