BVU and the Community Foundation of Lorain County are collaborating to provide 4 capacity-building workshops for Lorain County nonprofit organizations in 2025. Hosted quarterly on Friday mornings, these FREE in-person sessions will address current governance and management issues facing Lorain County nonprofit board and staff leaders.

Succession Planning for Staff and Board

This session will explore the critical importance of staff succession planning, human resources elements to consider, and how to approach emergency and long-term succession planning for an organization. The session will also address board succession planning and the important role of cultivating future board leaders.
