Lorain County Workshop Series with BVU
BVU and the Community Foundation of Lorain County are collaborating to provide 4 capacity-building workshops for Lorain County nonprofit organizations in 2025. Hosted quarterly on Friday mornings and led by BVU’s expert staff, these FREE in-person sessions will address current governance and management issues facing nonprofit board and staff leaders.
Candid Conversations: Charting the Future Together
Brought forward by Lorain County nonprofit leaders in response to increased community needs, internal pressures, and uncertainty of what’s ahead, this BVU-facilitated session offers a confidential, funder-free space for peer dialogue among local nonprofit chief executives.
Together, we’ll explore the most pressing challenges we’re seeing (and feeling), share ideas for mutual support and collaboration, and discuss what we need from the broader ecosystem to move forward with strength and clarity. Bring your perspective, your questions, and your openness to shared problem-solving.
Friday, May 16, 2025
65 S Main St, Oberlin, OH 44074 Registration is required. Please note that this session is intended for chief executive staff of Lorain-area nonprofit organizations.
