DESCRIPTION:REGISTER\nPlease join BVU and fellow board matching alumni on November 10 at Fathom at 4:30. This event is exclusive to individuals who went through BVU’s Board CONNECT board matching program. It has been our honor to connect you with nonprofit boards and now we hope to connect you with one another and provide you with more resources as you grow in your board service. \nThis session will feature a networking and interactive learning opportunity. Julie Clark\, Vice President of Nonprofit Engagement at BVU\, will discuss tools and tips for growing your impact on your organization’s board. SUMMARY:Linking New Leaders
DESCRIPTION:Linking New Leaders is a fun\, fast paced “speed dating” style event that brings together community-minded young professionals with local nonprofit organizations. \nThe goal is to connect up-and-coming professionals who want to contribute their time and expertise to a variety of engagement opportunities including positions on boards\, committees\, and “friends” groups. \nHow it works: \nBVU Business Members nominate candidates to participate. \nBVU works with our nonprofit partners to identify the right engagement opportunities. \nBVU brings together the candidates and the nonprofits for a “speed dating” event where candidates will be able to meet with each nonprofit for 5 minutes. \nAt the end of the event\, BVU makes the match based on the candidate’s interest and the nonprofit’s need. \nContact Sarah Castle at scastle@bvuvolunteers.org or 216-736-7711 to register. \n\n\n\nSponsorships are still available for this event series.
