Sponsored by MIM Software, BVU’s annual Summer of Service is a series of collaborative service days for BVU Business Partners. Summer of Service promotes engagement and commitment to our cities while learning about community needs and networking. We will be offering 3 dates this year: June 26, July 24, and August 7. Volunteers can sign up for a project of their choice from either 9 am-12 pm or 1-4 pm.
Each service day will offer a variety of small, 10 person projects at different nonprofits and locations around town. These projects offer volunteers the opportunity to do good while remaining safely socially distant.
Our July service day will focus on keeping our neighborhoods and communities healthy and vibrant. Projects include:
- Doan Brook Watershed: Park Litter clean up
- EDEN: Outdoor Landscaping projects
- Slavic Village Development: Street front revitalization
- US Committee for Refugee & Immigrants: Community Garden Projects
- Vel’s Purple Oasis: Community Garden projects
Sign up as a team or come out and meet other BVU business volunteers. Either way, it will be a great day of Service!
