Coordinator, Communications and Events

Be part of the team that helps engage, connect, and strengthen businesses, nonprofits, and the community. 

POSITION SUMMARY

This position will assist in developing, planning, coordinating, implementing, and executing BVU’s communications and events and webinars. 

Communications

This position will collaborate with others at BVU to achieve brand consistency, coordination of messages, and provide the highest standard for external communications.  This position will assist with the creation of communication materials across various platforms.

Events and Webinars

BVU’s events cover useful and practical knowledge, focusing on nonprofit governance, nonprofit management, board roles, public policy, corporate community engagement, volunteerism, and more.  You will be responsible for overseeing events prior to and day of, including venue selection, registration, website maintenance, communication to attendees, nametags, set-up, tear-down and follow-up.  You will also be responsible for the support of virtual webinar planning and execution.

Qualifications: 

The ideal candidate should have experience in marketing, communications, public relations,  event planning (logistics and execution), have a solid understanding of effective marketing techniques and excellent writing and editing skills.
