Transformative vs. Transactional Volunteerism: An In-depth
Look at Business Team Volunteer Projects
BVU’s Business Partner Breakfast brings together business professionals charged with community engagement at their companies to share best practices and network with peers.Business team volunteer projects help engage employees, boost morale, and increase overall collaboration. They also provide an opportunity for businesses to strengthen the community they work and live in.How can these days of service be more effective? This seminar takes a unique approach to the question by inviting BOTH businesses and nonprofits to learn and discuss how team volunteer projects can become more transformative and less transactional.
Through collaboration, we will:
- Learn how to make team projects more impactful
- Discuss how the day of service can better educate the volunteer on the community need
- Present ideas on how companies can take the information learned and transform their business practices and daily lives to have an ongoing impact.
Join us to learn how to elevate your corporate volunteer program (businesses) or strengthen your team project opportunities (nonprofits).
